Daily Qantaslink flights from Brisbane to Emerald.
Daily Coach services from Rockhampton and Mackay with Emerald Coaches.
Twice weekly train service from Brisbane and Longreach – Spirit of the Outback.

Driving?
Coming from Clermont: Turn right after the water tower, veer left and look for the white brick fence.
Coming from Rockhampton & West: Turn onto the Clermont Highway at BP. Take the first left after Eagle Boys, veer left and look for the white brick fence.

Things to do:
Lavender Cottages is located opposite the Maraboon Tavern, Twin Cinemas and Bowls Club. Within easy walking distance to Woolworths shopping complex, McDonalds, Eagle Boys, Video 2000, Rotary Park and Hospital.
Only a short walk to the Racecourse and Moreton Park.

While in Emerald visit the National Trust listed railway station, the Heritage Mosaic pathway and the worlds biggest Van Gogh Sunflower Painting in Morton Park.

Emerald is a great base when visiting the Gemfields, Fairbairn Dam, Clermont Gold Fields, Longreach Hall of Fame and Qantas Museum and Carnavon Gorge.
